Druidology.

Taken on the obligatory triannual Henge trip. It really isn't worth paying anymore as i'm not so into the cattle herding and obnoxious bastards with lenses longer than your arm.

However, no amount of cultural dilution and trite electronic headsets can dampen the experience of what is surely one of the finest things this sorry country has to offer.

  1. I'd love to see Stonehenge someday. I do abhor crowds and especially obnoxious guys with giant lenses. I don't do well as cattle either. And I have been known to wander where I don't belong. I hope I won't be disappointed when I visit one day, but I suspect it's possible. I should probably avoid all touristy places, come to think of it.

  2. Go to Avebury as well to purify. Less busy, and arguably more beautiful.

Just a shame English Heritage have ripped the soul away from this place.

  4. Thanks Briana.... Yeah I didn't realise how much I liked the bottom photo till I saw it big on the screen. Quite a lovely effect I think.

  5. The bottom is my favorite as well, though I also really like the top one. It looks as if something secret and old and druidic were going on in that photo.
